Keeping active, exercising, eating healthfully, playing sports, dancing, being active outdoors and connecting with nature has always been a way of life for me. Perhaps growing up in a small town in Kansas attributed to that. I feel my journey has involved connecting my mind, body, and spirit and in turn, helping others to do the same.

I attended the University of Kansas and received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Exercise Physiology. While at the University of Kansas, I was the Assistant Director of Recreation Services, Fitness Division. Working with students and faculty became my passion as I taught a variety of group fitness classes, lead personal training sessions, and taught an Instructor Training program to students. It was all very rewarding. For my internship, which was part of my Undergraduate degree, I had the honor to work at the Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research in Dallas, Texas with Dr. Kenneth Cooper.

After completing my Master's degree, I moved to Kansas City, worked at a sports club and held various positions including; group fitness instructor, personal trainer, membership sales, and assistant manager. Later, I attended and graduated from BMSI, (Body, Mind, Spirit Integration) a massage therapy school because I wanted another way to further help my clients and aid in their healthy lifestyle. I became nationally certified in massage therapy and started my own business, which included personal training and massage therapy.

I now reside in Los Angeles, CA and am continuing my passion of personal fitness instruction. My mission is to inspire a self-belief and well-being in others. It gives me great pleasure to witness my clients move out of pain and/or a sedentary lifestyle to living a confident, self-empowered life!

Namaste,
